Apart from the regions already mentioned above, the effort to develop wine production in Macedonia was fortunate enough to have the support of the Boutaris, Tsantalis and Carras companies. Thus, Macedonia is a country that has been well charted enologically. Designations have been approved for local wines from Drama, Nea Mesimvria, Epanomi, and the slopes of Vertisko.

In Drama we can find the domain of Constantinos and Frederic Lazaridis, in Epanomi, the vineyards of E. Gerovasiliou and in Vertisko that of Anestis Babatzimopoulos.
